Ruth Keen serves as the Education Officer for the Truman Foundation. She works closely with scholars to plan and execute the Foundation’s Summer Institute. Ruth continues to work with scholars through the yearlong Fellows Program. During the year, Ruth coordinates with other government agencies and various nonprofits to secure internship and job opportunities for scholars looking to find employment in the D.C. metro area.
Prior to the Foundation, Ruth worked for the Department of Defense in the Office of Navy Family Housing and for the Department of Justice Criminal Division. She graduated in 2000 from Grove City College with a degree in Psychology.
Outside of work, Ruth enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering with her certified therapy dog, Chase, in several local elementary schools.
