Meet Our Scholars
Since selecting our first class of Scholars in 1977, the Foundation has endeavored to discover and encourage future public service leaders. Our Scholars come from every state and territory, hundreds of different colleges, universities and academies, and represent a wide range of interests and aspirations.
We are proud of have Scholars serving in local, state and national government, educating students from pre-school to graduate school, providing healthcare here and abroad, advocating for causes local and international and serving in every branch of the armed services.

In 2021, we selected 62 outstanding college students from 51 institutions as Truman Scholars.
