Regional Review Panels
Finalists will be invited to interview in a region based on the state of permanent residence listed in the application.
Information about each region is listed below. Dates for interviews are fixed early in the cycle and will not change unless absolutely necessary. Please check the date for your regional interview before applying; you cannot request another date for your interview.
Other details about the interviews are subject to change. All Finalists will be notified of any substantive changes. Finalists may wish to check this page in the days before their interview to ensure they have the most up to date information. Finalists are not expected to know more about their panelists than the information listed in these pages.
The Foundation reserves the right to relocate states with fewer than three Finalists when appropriate. If, for example, all Hawaii Finalists attend school on the east coast, the Foundation may arrange to interview these Finalists at an east coast location. These changes will not be made without consulting those students impacted. Finalists from American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam and the US Virgin Islands will generally be interviewed as part of Washington DC III, unless other arrangements are made.
