An anthropology major, Katherine is a founding director of a Boston young women's mentoring program and of the Akili Initiative, an online student think tank for global health. Her interests in women's rights and health policy have led her to work on gender and disability in Bangladesh, mental health among American Indians, and violence against women research for the United Nations. In her free time, Katherine loves hiking and violin music.
