John has been in the food business for nearly thirty years, starting out on the chain restaurant side and gradually working his way over to the food processing side of the business. Previously, John was Vice President – Operations of a regional restaurant chain with 125 locations, President & CEO of a restaurant development and chain management company, and President & CEO of a mid-sized food processing company, which also operated retail stores in Southern California. From 1990 to 2000, John was President & CEO of Sona & Hollen Foods, a food processor in Los Alamitos, California. In June 2000, John sold the company to Ventura Foods, LLC, a national food processor with thirteen facilities, and he is currently Vice President – Custom Pack working out of Ventura Foods’ corporate headquarters in Brea, California.
A graduate of Stanford University and Northwestern Kellogg Graduate School of Business, John currently resides in Corona del Mar, California with his wife and three daughters.
